MODA: Inversion

On Tuesday (23rd October) at 7:00 pm, there is a monthly MathsJam gathering. It occurs simultaneously in various areas of the country, including the Castle Inn, Cambridge. I’ve heard rumours that there is a surprise party at the event for Tom Rychlik to celebrate his e^3 – sqrt(pi) birthday!

The week seems to have passed by very quickly, as we are on to yet another chapter of MODA. This one is concerned with the original technique to be described as a dark art (by Geoff Smith), namely circle inversion. Inversion is effectively reflection in a circle, which I employed to mimic Escher’s Circle Limit.

Again, if you have any suggestions, please either send me an e-mail or comment on this post.
